Dr. Sam Masoud
Dr. Sam Masoud has been working as one of St. Catharines Animal Hospital’s Veterinarians since November 2015. He previously worked in different hospitals as an ER veterinarian in the GTA & Niagara regions before he joined the St. Catharines Animal Hospital team. He decided to pursue a career as a veterinarian because he loved working in the medical field, especially with animals.
He had his first dog in grade 7, which was a German Shepherd.
In 1993, he joined a 5-year university program at vet school, then did post-graduation training for 6 months in different veterinary branches. He started his career working with buffaloes, cows, and poultry (broiler, breeder, and layers). He then changed to small animals when he moved to Canada. After he finished the VSTEP program with Guelph University and got his veterinary license to work in Ontario. Dr. Masoud is interested in soft tissue surgeries, internal medicine, and emergency cases. He is also registered to work in the state of New York. Dr. Masoud is married and has 2 kids, a 20-year old boy who is interested in a medical career and a 16-year old girl who wants to be a veterinarian just like her dad. Dr. Masoud enjoys fishing and watching soccer during his free time. His favorite teams are Liverpool ,Egypt and Toronto FC.

- College of Veterinarians of Ontario CVO License – 2014

- New York State Veterinary License – 2014
- Certificate in Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology – 2018

Daniella Schipani
From an early age, Daniella has been captivated by the wonder of animals, igniting a deep-seated passion within her that has fueled her aspirations in the field of veterinary medicine. From the moment she stepped into Lakeshore Woods Animal Hospital in July 2022, Daniella's journey has been one of dedication and compassion, as she immerses herself in the noble task of caring for pet companions who grace her path.
Driven by the profound satisfaction of witnessing animals regain their health and vitality, Daniella approaches each day with a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients. Beyond her professional endeavors, her own furry family—comprising her cat, Molly, her Great-Dane/Husky Mix, Jasper, and her two Bulldogs, Indiana and Winston—further fuel her passion and dedication to animal welfare.
Aliya Mooney
Aliya is an exceptionally dedicated and hardworking individual who discovered her passion for helping beloved pets in need through volunteering. Animals hold a special place in her heart, and she finds great satisfaction in lending a hand whenever necessary. Aliya joined Lakeshore Woods Animal Hospital in August 2023 and exemplifies commitment to animal welfare everyday. She has her own dog, Cookie, a 13-year-old Havanese mix, who has not only inspired her but also deepened her appreciation for her work. Currently pursuing a career in healthcare at McMaster University, Aliya aims to further her ability to make a positive impact on the lives of animals.
Erin Morris
Erin has always been an avid animal lover and wanted to pursue her passion by striving towards a career in veterinary medicine. She is looking forward to attending the University of Guelph for Animal Biology to continue learning everything about animals. She spends time volunteering at a cat shelter, horse stables and helping other veterinarians. Erin owns a 3-year-old miniature Goldendoodle named Sadie and enjoys teaching her new tricks, taking her on walks and paddleboarding in the warmer months.
Natalie
Natalie is pursuing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Royal Veterinary College, situated at the University of London. The Royal Veterinary College is renowned globally as the highest-ranked veterinary institution worldwide. Before veterinary school, Natalie attended Queen’s University and achieved a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences.Natalie’s journey to veterinary school was enriched by years of experience at Lakeshore Woods Animal Hospital and her local humane society. Through these experiences, Natalie found herself committed to advocating for the health of those unable to articulate their needs. Outside of Lakeshore Woods Animal Hospital and her academics, Natalie likes to spend her time with her four-year-old beagle, Winslow.
